Join us for this month's installment of the CreativeMornings breakfast lecture series. The theme this month is Wonder. The speaker will be local creative and dad-to-be Tim Smith. Tim will share his vision of a long and fulfilling life through the pursuit of new hobbies.

Doors open at 9:00am with the presentation ensuing at 9:30am. As always there will be free coffee and a small breakfast!

Meet Your Banjo Workshop at Arts West

A beginner friendly banjo workshop with local aficionado Hilarie Burhans!

Sunday, June 30, 2-4pm at Arts West

Suggested Donation of $12 (no one turned away)

Internationally touring old time musician and teacher Hilarie Burhans brings us a beginner friendly banjo workshop for those wishing to pick up Claw Hammer style banjo.  She'll cover claw hammer technique, basic notes and chords, as well as different types of banjos and playing styles. 

This workshop is for ages 8 thru adult.

If players wish to borrow a banjo from the musical lending library please pre-register so we can make sure to have enough for everyone.  If you have an extra Banjo to loan to another workshop participant please also let us know.
