Spirit Band on Mount Nebo

ARTS/west presents an un-staged reading as part of the Hodge Podge Reading Series! The script written by local playwright Ivars Balkits, derived from documented testimonies, letters and articles by various professionals from the 1850's, who claim to have witnessed SPIRITS on Jonathan Koons' farm located on Mount Nebo of Athens County.

Curiosity seekers and spiritualists gathered from all over the country to climb Mount Nebo to witness what many have claimed. Everything from unseen forces playing instruments, disembodied hands, writing messages and the spirit known as John King speaking through a trumpet have witnessed these marvels.

Light refreshments will be served after the reading during an audience talk-back! THIS IS A FREE EVENT.
