SATB "Twas the night before Christmas"

SATB Choir will be having a Christmas Concert on December, 13th at 7:30pm, held at ARTS/west. The Concert will benefit ATCO Vocal Chorus and Passionworks Studio, while celebrating this magical season with music and art. Bring your friends and family out for this exciting holiday event!

Suggested Donations are 10$ for individual and 15$ for a family.

A Christmas Carol


There will be construction on Miller Avenue on MONDAY, DECEMBER 10th. The crew is expected to be on-site Monday through Friday from approximately 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, weather dependent, until the project is completed. Traffic will be maintained on Miller Avenue during the project, but there will be times when traffic is flagged through the work zone. ARTS/west parking lot may not be available during this time. Please call ARTS/west in advance for available parking spots.

The Miller sidewalk project includes constructing a street level sidewalk and a retaining wall. The project also includes relocating the existing steps, required to connect the proposed sidewalk to the existing sidewalk; striping and signage improvements will also be completed.

The City of Athens apologizes for any inconvenience that may be incurred during this work. Questions or concerns may be directed to the City of Athens Engineering and Public Works Department, 740-593-7636.

Seeking new Program Specialist

Front & Center THIS Saturday with SPECIAL GUESTS

On Saturday, December 8th, FRONT AND CENTER will be returning to ARTS/west for its monthly musical event with special guest:
Appalachian Ohio Storytelling Project.
Appalachian Ohio Storytelling Project is a non-profit organization that produces storytelling, art and performance events throughout the Appalachian region.

Appalachian Storytelling Project singer Susanna Holstein, will also be performing in concert at ARTS/west, January 19th, where all of the proceeds from the concert will benefit UCMs "Twice Weekly Meal Program." So come out and support this talented group!

The show will take place from noon to 1:00 pm for school aged kids, but all are welcome! The second half of the event is open for any child in the audience that would like to come on stage and showcase their talents. Make sure not to miss this interactive and fun-filled musical event!

Factory Street Studio's Winter Dance Celebration

Factory Street Studio will be having their Winter Dance Celebration at ARTS/west on Friday, December 14th. The concert will begin at 7:00pm-10:30pm.
Tickets are now available for pre-sale at Factory Street Studio.
$10 for adults and $8 for students.
The concert will be featuring new student choreography by:
CKC, performances by Tech 3 Jazz, Hip Hop 2, and Tech 5/6 Ballet.
