Pints with a Purpose for the SEO Musical Lending Library

Thursday, Sept. 19, 4-10pm
at Devil's Kettle Brewing, 97 Columbus Rd, Athens, OH

The Southeast Ohio Musical Lending Library is the September recipient for Devil's Kettle Brewing's Pints with a Purpose Fundraiser!

Grab a few friends and join us for some delicious brews at Devil's Kettle -- and for every pint sold, $1 will be donated to the SEO-MLL to support access to instruments, music lessons and music education in this region.

The Muscial Lending Library hosts a 1st Thursday beginners' String Jam at Arts West, and has provided a workshop series for topics such as square dance calling, guitar repair, songwriting, banjo, fiddling, full drum kit playing, W. African drumming, intro to jazz and more. The library also takes a traveling "Instruent Petting Zoo" to public libraries and local festivals to give area kids more opportunities to try something new.

Music enriches life and has the added bonus of improving kids' academics.

The SEO Musical Lending Library is a project of Arts West, Stuart's Opera House and the Federal Valley Resource Center, with lending branches at each location.

Thank you to Devil's Kettle for choosing to support our organization.

We look forward to seeing you there!
