2018 Holiday Craft Swap

Bring handmade​, giftable​ items to exchange for an equal ​number of items made by other local makers. The swapping starts around 2pm and goes until all the items are gone (which doesn't take very long). The swap has a spirit of community celebration. It's a great way to share your talents and wares! Please feel free to bring snacks or cookies to share. ​ ​

Join us for some old time fiddle tunes, fiddle sticks, and a great selection of old time musical instruments for all sized players to try out.  Joe Burdock will give a fiddle stick presentation and participants can make their own set of sticks to take home after playing a few tunes.  We'll bring the upright bass, several guitars, banjos, and more!  A free event brought to you by the Southeast Ohio Musical Lending Library and Athens County Public Library.  After-school snack provided. Led by ARTS/West.

Bring your kids to the Musical Lending Library and events coordinator Tessa Evanosky will get them playing simple songs and beats on selected instruments for ages 3 & up! Adult supervision is required for children to participate and we'll be sure to have something for the parents to play also!
