We know the arts change lives and communities in many ways. The value proposition for our work is based on providing access to programs and services that produce meaningful experiences for people--resulting in personal, relational, or societal impact. While we know these personal transformations in and through the arts happen every day, the evidence is often difficult to capture and leverage.

Believing in the power of the arts to transform lives, Gerald (Jerry) has contributed to modest initiatives that have resulted in significant innovation and change in arts organizations throughout North America and beyond. Methods from his writings and workshops have been successfully implemented by several thousand arts organizations and artists in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Japan, Spain, Chile, and Argentina.

He has been engaged by foundations, public arts agencies, arts organizations and individual artists to read, research, and provoke innovative new practices to increase clarity of purpose, engagement in the arts and earned and contributed revenue.
The Arts Impact Ohio Conference will take place in Columbus, Ohio the day after Arts Day & the Governor's Awards. Registration will open on March 16.
