2nd annual Athens Area Fiber Faire

This year’s Athens Area Fiber Faire, housed in the Athens Community Center, will offer a little bit of something for everyone in the fiber world. Situated near the intersection of US 33 and US 50, our expansive new venue boasts ample parking, single-level floorplan, and multiple gathering spaces. Several hotels and restaurants are within easy walking distance.

Classes offered include:
Knitting, Weaving, Tatting, Needlepoint, Spinning, Crocheting, Loom knitting, Needle Felting, Ravelry 101, and Ask the Expert! We will also be offering children’s classes this year where we’ll each Arm Knitting and French (Tube) Knitting. Schedule here!

New highlights this year include:
• Outdoor displays of live fiber animals. Come pet alpacas, stroke sheep, and snuggle bunnies.
• Expanded concessions and food trucks for a variety of tasty treats.
• Two fashion shows to awe, inspire, and tickle your fancy.

Our Marketplace vendor list is still growing, but we already have confirmed booths containing a vast array of fiber related merchandise such as yarn, fabric, supplies, accessories, books, notions, finished goods, tools, and so much more!
