ARTS/West Presents: Film viewing of "Hugo" and "Journey to the Moon"

Family Film Event  - Saturday, December 7th from 3-530pm!

"Hugo" is a 2011 historical adventure drama film based on Brian Selznick's novel The Invention of Hugo Cabret about a boy who lives alone in the Gare Montparnasse railway station in Paris and discovers a magical connection between his departed father and a shop keeper in the station. It is directed and co-produced by Martin Scorsese. Rated PG.

Immediately following “Hugo” we will present the short, silent film, “A Trip to the Moon”, made in 1902 by French film maker, Georges Méliés. We will be showing a recently restored, hand-painted version of this 15 minute piece of film history.
