Meditation Class


Every Wednesday from 7:30 to 8:30 PM, February 22nd to April 11th, Cleo Wolf, RN will be teaching a class on meditation right here at ARTS/West.

Anyone can learn to meditate. Meditation has numerous health benefits including:

Strengthening the immune system
Lowering stress and anxiety
Lowering blood pressure

This class is offered to introduce participants to meditation as a tool for health, happiness and mental development. We will address meditation as a holistic practice and discuss factors that contribute to success. Various seated or reclining postures, walking, and movement will be introduced. A variety of meditation objects will be introduced and explored. Advanced subjects will be discussed and explored.
