What's happening tomorrow?

Citizens For Our Neighborhoods, CFON is a community group seeking to preserve and enhance community andquality of life in Athens. CFON will meet on Wed. November 8 from about 7:00 to 9:00, that will be lead by Milt Greek.

And then on Thursday, November 9th, 7:30 pm The Athens Music Club presents The Coolville Hot Club (formerly known as the Gadjo Kings) return to the stage once again.

And then! Quilt discovery!!! Athens County Quilt Discovery: Members of the public are invited to bring their quilts--and share their stories for an oral history project--to ARTS/West, where quilt and textile experts Ellice Ronsheim and Leslie Floyd will examine them and offer information about their patterns, fabrics, and styles. While all quilts are welcome, those made before 1950 and have a connection to the Ohio Appalachian Region--either brought here or made by a resident--will be of particular interest. We will, however, look at as many quilts as time allows. A quilt history form will be filled out for each quilt and a documentation label will be registered at the Athens County Historical Society and Museum. Please call 592-4315 to register in advance if at all possible.
